Advanced topics

Here we list the advanced topics that might be of interest to the more professional users.

First comes the powerful users equations option that allows users to employ their own equations to set up electrode geometies.  This is simpler that it might at first seem.

Then we deal with anothe powerful option by which voltages can be automatically optimised to obtain the smallest focus, for example.

Next we describe a technique which we think is important, but which does not seem to be used often enough, which is that of extrapolting results to an infinite number fo segments.

After that comes a diverse set of advanced options, in no particular order.
