Shap2d05.dat, 5th 'shape' file for CPO2D

A hyperbolic surface, defined by users equations, replaces shap2d03.

The same geometry as shap2d03, but the hyperbolic surface is now created by users equations, so shap2d03 is now redundant.

This illustrates the option (added July 2012) for electrodes to be defined by user-supplied equations.

The hyperbolic surface shown here (in planar coordinates x and z) is defined by x*z = 100. For convenience it is treated in 2 halves, from (x,z) = (3.3333,30) to (10,10) and from (10,10) to (30,3.3333)

For the first part the surface is defined by the equations

x = u

z = 100/u.

The variable 'u' is subdivided uniformly into 20 segments between the limits 3.3333 and 10 (and the usual option for non-unifirm subdivisions could also have been used).

4 parameters of fixed values are also available but are not used here.

The equation for the first surface, as it appears in the data file, is:

u 3.3333 10 name of variable number 1 and its limits

0 name of parameter number 1 and its fixed value

0 name of parameter number 2 and its fixed value

0 name of parameter number 3 and its fixed value

0 name of parameter number 4 and its fixed value

u

100/u

1 1 numbers of 2 applied voltages (can be same, for equipotential electrode)

20 1 number of subdivisions, type of subdivision
