Helical motion in a uniform magnetic field
This test file simulates helical motion in a 2D magnetic field.
The electrostatic field is zero and the 'non meridional' ray option has been used to make the initial transverse velocity that of an electron of energy 1eV. The magnetic field strength has been chosen to give a helical motion of radius 0.5mm (that is, B = sqrt(2*V*m/e)/r), as observed here (using view/plot r*cos(phi)/ ).
