CPO programs

The regular versions of the CPO programs are:

CPO2DS For 2-Dimensional simulations, including Space-charge and Cathodes

CPO3D For 3-Dimensional simulations

CPO3DS For 3-Dimensional simulations, including Space-charge and Cathodes

The complimentary free versions of the CPO programs are:

CPO2D For 2-Dimensional simulations

CPO3D For 3-Dimensional simulations

These free versions will run most of the benchmark test and example files and can be used to obtain accurate answers for a wide variety of practical simulations. They are very popular with students. They cannot be used for space-charge simulations. The maximum numbers of segments are 1500 for CPO2D and 3000 for CPO3D and other limitations also exist –eg the maximum number of different electrodes is 10 and only one magnetic field component is allowed in CPO3D. In the evaluation versions the maximum numbers of segment are 8000 and 12000 for CPO2D and CPO3D respectively and there are no other limitations.

The complimentary evaluation versions of the CPO programs are:

CPO2DS For 2-Dimensional simulations

CPO3DS For 3-Dimensional simulations
