Reducing the total number of 3D segments.
For technical reasons it is not possible to provide a databuilder option to reduce the total number of segments in a 3D data file.
Therefore the compiled program reduce is supplied to do this. The command reduce should be used on a command line and then the instructions on the screen should be followed.
This program can also be used for 2D data files (although there is an online option for this in CPO2D) and for increasing the number of segments (and again, there are online options).
