An ellipsoid created by stretching a sphere

A circle of radius 1 is stretched by a factor of 3 in the z direction, producing an ellipse. This shape then produces an ellipsoid after rotation about the z axis.

The equation for the circle is

(rho/a)**2 + (z/b)**2 = 1,

where a = b = 1 is the radius of the circle. After stretching the z coordinates by a factor of 3 the value of b is effectively increased by this factor, producing an ellipse.

The users equations option can of course also be used.
