Free edition

This is the licence shown when you install the free edition, and the one that applies to it. If you need to use CPO for commercial work, the full edition is licensed for it.

PERMITTED USE OF THE FREE EDITION

You may use the free edition of CPO2D and CPO3D for:

• learning and teaching, including university courses;
• academic and other non-profit research;
• trying the programs out to see how they work.

For a full evaluation of CPO before purchase, please use the evaluation edition instead. It unlocks every option, allows the full segment counts, and runs for 15 days; if you need longer, please ask and we will extend it. The free edition is deliberately limited and is not a substitute for the full edition.

You may not use the free edition for commercial work. By commercial work we mean any use that contributes to a product, a service or a result somebody pays for, or that is carried out for a customer, an employer or a client. Simulation done as part of a paid job or contract needs a purchased licence, however small the model.

This is the licence shown when you install a purchased or evaluation copy. It places no restriction on the kind of work you may do.
